The United States has never had a female president.

The United States has never had a female president; George Washington was the first president of the United States. After a long time fighting with a British, Finally United States won the war and got independence. Since then, United States had to face so many difficult situations to establish the country. American women had no higher education than men at that time. Many American women didn’t think about running for the president because the country was going through a lot of wars with a British and women dominated society in American.

            The major reason that not becomes a female president is American women had less capabilities and no political experiences. The Unites States history, the country went through so many wars with a British and faced so many times economy crisis. It was not easy to resolve the problems. Though many American male presidents had to deal with hard times and only a few of them became successful. To deal with the bigger problems such as, wars, and economy crisis, it could have been harder to deal with those issues for the American women because they had no higher education, not enough political experiences, and women dominated American culture. But American women become more capable in today’s advance technology age. There are so many females getting higher education and become more capable to run the presidential election. For instance: Sarah Palin was a presidential candidate in 2008. Unfortunately, she lost the race.

            The United States has never had a female president because American women had no higher education, American culture was women dominated society, and mentally they had not enough capabilities to run presidential post which is even very tough job. Women could run for the president if they had higher education, political talents, and skills. There were so many wars to fight and so many times economic crisis in the United States history because of them the American women never thought that they would run for the president.

            I think there would definitely be a female president in future in the United States because Today’s American women are not like before, they are become more aware of the country’s issues. They are become more educated people and more skillful people. I am assuming that there will be a female president in upcoming presidential election 2012.  I have heard that Michele Bachmann, currently a candidate for the Republican nomination in 2012 U.S presidential election from Minnesota State.
